Implementation Checklist
Prepare controlled release or rollout work.
Project use
Use this before controlled rollout or release work that can affect users, systems, data, or support load.
- Confirm scope, owner, window, prerequisites, communication, and rollback.
- Verify backups, access, test results, and dependency readiness.
- List execution steps in the order they will be performed.
- Define validation checks and who confirms success.
- Record actual result, exceptions, and follow-up actions.
Expected output
A project record that states the decision, owner, boundary, dependency, next checkpoint, and evidence needed to continue.
Common failure mode
Starting execution before rollback and validation are concrete.
Use notes
| Best trigger | Use before a project decision becomes expensive to reverse. |
|---|---|
| Evidence | Keep enough context to explain the decision later without reconstructing conversations. |
| Review point | Review when scope, stakeholder expectation, timing, risk, or ownership changes. |
