Rollout Readiness

Verify people, systems, support, communication, and rollback before broad deployment.

Type: Project recordVersion: v7

Project use

Use this before broad release when users, support, communication, or rollback must be ready.

  1. Confirm final scope, release window, target audience, and support model.
  2. Verify training, documentation, monitoring, access, and communication.
  3. Check rollback, escalation, and known issue handling.
  4. Get explicit go/no-go decision from the accountable owner.
  5. Record readiness gaps and defer launch when gaps exceed risk tolerance.

Expected output

A project record that states the decision, owner, boundary, dependency, next checkpoint, and evidence needed to continue.

Common failure mode

Confusing technical completion with organizational readiness.

Use notes

Best triggerUse before a project decision becomes expensive to reverse.
EvidenceKeep enough context to explain the decision later without reconstructing conversations.
Review pointReview when scope, stakeholder expectation, timing, risk, or ownership changes.
